The Health Employees (State) Award 2019 applies to all other sonographers employed by the State Government. APEX Sonographers (Auckland Region) MECA (1 August 2019 – 31 July 2022) The agreement is currently before the Fair Work Commission for approval. The first salary increase will apply as soon as possible after a «yes» vote from employees with payment of arrears until July 2019 thereafter. The next 1.5% pay rise and changes to the terms and conditions of employment will only apply 7 days after the Fair Work Commission`s approval, which is expected to be late December/early January. The offer includes salary increases of $1,000 per year starting July 1, 2018 and an additional $1,000 starting July 1, 2019. (share for part-time workers). The first wage increase will only be paid to workers employed at the time of registration of a new agreement by the WA Industrial Relations Commission. The offer applies to a two-year contract that expires on June 30, 2020, and the draft salary plan is available here. What we do know is that a no to the current offer would mean that the effective date of a salary increase would only be from the date we finally agreed, and that any changes to the terms would likely be lost. With 94.48% of favorable opinions, HSUWA members, employed by Brightwater Care Group, overwhelmingly approved a new agreement providing for 6% salary increases over 3 years, late to July 1, 2019.
